Biden shuts down crypto

Joe Biden just dropped a bombshell by vetoing a resolution aimed at overturning the SEC’s controversial Staff Accounting Bulletin (SAB) No. 121. We told you to not get your hopes up 🤷 

The crypto world was not amused, Blockchain association publicly made a statement on X 👇️ 

The guidelines for SAB No.121, which requires institutions to record crypto holdings as liabilities, was supposed to take effect on April 11 but faced massive backlash.

Lawmakers in the House voted 228-182 to repeal the SEC’s guidance, and the Senate followed with a 60-38 vote to repeal SAB-121.

The crypto community is up in arms on social media, saying this stifles innovation at a crucial time.
